2012 -- Quilting Projects

My next quilting project is a BOM from Craftsy website that a WW friend, fellow quilter, asked that I do with her. As I'm in the midst of moving -- again -- and can't find my cutting implements, I've tucked away my chosen fabric along with the pattern so when my sewing space is set up, I can go to town... possibly making February's BOM at the same time.

Couldn't decide which to select for initial block ..  chose the left fabric.

Completed knitting projects

1st three pair -- red/green #1; blue/burgundy #2; green/brown #3
As I don't have sufficient space to quilt, I picked up my knitting needles.  Found this awesome pattern on Ravelry.  When I made the 3rd pair, I decided to make the bottom with double yarn.  While pair #1 and #2 are fine (mine are the red, the blue/burgundy are for my sister and the variegated green are for my handsome hubby), I will need to make a double bottom pair for me.

4th pair -- for mom
I like the 4th pair the best.  These are for my mom's birthday and are the best because they have the double bottom and I ensured that I did the binding off correctly on hers.  I'm sure she'll like them as she picked out the colors to match her bathrobe.  I only wish I could present them in person but I'm in PA and she's in NH.
